The role: Project Purchaser

You will report to the Manager Procurement in the Netherlands. More specifically you will be held accountable for;

  • Producing a project procurement strategy;
  • Attending all Project Progress Meetings in order tot identify the scope of materials and services required for the project;
  • Reviewing and approving purchase proposals;
  • Identifying and assessing local sourcing options for greenhouse EPCI projects;
  • Ensuring the purchase orders are issued in compliance with project schedule and budget (or target);
  • Liaising with project teams and procurement team in the Netherlands to maintain awareness of project activities and their impact on the supply chain;
  • Documenting and reporting on the project supply chain status;
  • Managing purchase package documentation RFQ, etc.;
  • Managing vendor bid evaluations and vendor selection process.
  • Ensuring all relevant QA & HSE requirements are met.
  • Monitoring progress, forecasting delivery and forwarding dates.

Your profile

  • You are a self-starter, result oriented and resilient when required.
  • We expect a solid supply chain and procurement background with proven technical purchasing skills.
  • You are committed to project results.
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience in supply chain management.
  • Technical education (Bachelor and/or Master)
  • Experience in project environment.
  • Professional proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.Willingsness to travel.
  • Flexible
