As a Designer Climate, you play an important role in a project and you are responsible for the conceptual design, as well as the timely and correct delivery of technical calculations, design drawings, cost calculations, and quotations for climate control systems. In this role, you will apply various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) techniques in the most challenging climates to create a functional system in the greenhouse. You will work closely with the greenhouse designers, water and electrical engineers, and Sales Managers to ensure that quotations are accurate.
You will be involved in both the sales process for a project and in drawing up the contract and associated costs. You will also work closely with the Engineering and Projects department to ensure a smooth transfer and implementation of sold projects.
Your tasks will include:
• Devising a working climate control system, including:
- Design sketches
- (Heat) technical calculations
- Cost price calculations
- Associated quotation text
• Consulting with colleagues to arrive at a good technically working system.• Consulting with suppliers to find suitable solutions together.
• Possibly consulting with customers to present the designed solutions.
Your profile?
- A completed technical higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO)
- Good command of the English language; preferably also of the Dutch language.
- Ability to switch quickly and effectively between different tasks
- Creative thinking
- Focused on collaboration
- Experience with HVAC/(heat) technical calculations is an advantage
