About the job

As IT Teamlead, you will lead a team of business architects who implement IT solutions for the Arvesta central services function, which are business applications supporting finance, procurement and human resources services. We are looking for a collaborative teamlead. This means that this colleague can take up the teamlead role and operationally manage the team, while still filling the role of business architect himself/herself, according to his/her availability.  This includes the following:

  • You will have operational leadership of a team of business architects:
    • You manage the operational and tactical planning of your team members, on projects as for day-to-day support activities
    • You keep an overview of what your team members are working on and adjust them where necessary; you ensure that they are deployed efficiently 
  • You manage the demand for functional and process improvements and/or changes from business in coordination with the responsible IT Value Manager, and make the right estimates in terms of cost, impact and delivery.
  • You adequately follow up incidents, and resolve them with your team according to the set service levels.
  • You work to create a positive culture around service management, where quality and customer focus are paramount. 
  • You know your stakeholders in the business organisation and keep a finger on the pulse in order to avoid escalations.
  • You actively work to coach team members by, among other things, going through the full people cycle (i.e. growth and development) with them, and following up on appropriate training programmes.
  • You encourage commitment within the team, both for the team, for IT and for Arvesta.
  • You take responsibility for building knowledge and documentation within the team.
  • You will report directly to the IT director and ensure he is always up to date with the team's operations.
  •  You actively seek improvement opportunities in the team's operations and implement them in consultation with the IT director.
  • You will take on the project manager role of projects within your domain. This applies to projects that do not require a full-time project manager and can therefore be combined with substantive work and the job of team lead.
  • You will be a member of the IT ELT (Extended Leadership Team) community, actively contributing to the agenda, organisation and elaboration of the topics discussed.
  • You are a member of the Arvesta ELT community and communicate core messages to your team.
