Application Architect

About the job

As an Application Architect, you will join application development team of architects and developers working together with state-of-the-art multi-experience development platforms such as Outsystems, Power Platform, Magento, Contentful. In that role you will mainly focus on Outsystems application landscape and surrounding its solutions part time as a Senior developer and part time as an Architect.   

You will:  

- Translate the technical requirements into state-of-the-art applications for both our customers and internal employees.  

- Help determine the architecture of both business and customer-centric mobile and web applications and are responsible for the correct operation and quality of these applications. 

- Focus on develop user friendly applications with 0 technical depth 50% to 70% of your time

- Insure quality and security of applications in your scope 

- Analyse, determine steps and take actions to decrease technical depth of all applications in your scope 

- Do code review and coach developers in the team    

- Work within a matrix structure. This means that you have a hierarchical responsibility within the IT organization, but in the projects, you report operationally to the project leader or program manager.

Your profile

- At least 5 years of experience in Outsystems development is a must 

- Strong in building, configuring, and implementing digital applications and have broad knowledge of application landscapes. Good knowledge of application architecture, relational databases, and data modelling. 

- Knowledge of technologies such as .NET, Javascript, React, CSS, and Elastic is a plus 

- Relevant experience as a web or mobile architect/developer is a plus 

- Knowledge of platforms such as Contentful, Magento, Mailchimp, MS power platform is a plus 

- Fluent in English is a must, French & Dutch is a plus. 

- An analytical mind and proactive approach
